I didn't make these last week because I don't like panettone but everyone's loaves look so amazing that I'm now sure the homemade version is a million times better than what you see in the box at the grocery store, and I must try this bread! I'll be using your method for the baking paper too.inthekitchenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/00237440633784467985noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6755224022149560047.post-3448561233366283692015-01-22T13:35:14.951+09:302015-01-22T13:35:14.951+09:30Oh man, I LOVE the idea of kahlua and espresso. I improvised with parchment paper and a six inch pan also, but mine was a little different. I found a "design" online. I will have my results online tomorrow, hope you will be able to stop by and see them.Michele at The Artful Ovenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/05102101737940643460noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6755224022149560047.post-73308437930904502912015-01-20T03:38:56.729+09:302015-01-20T03:38:56.729+09:30Turned out lovely! It's crazy how volume measures are different everywhere. There isn't a standard. I agree with you that it was an enjoyable process making the panettone, and it didn't really take much time at all (wink). You got great height on your bread without a traditional oven. Casing a great idea which I will happily rip off for my next GP extravaganza.

And bonus points for baking without an oven... I would have given up and just poured a Campari and soda to join in Italian spirit! That would have been a lot of Campari and soda though...Nicolahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/09276278631468370980noreply@blogger.com
